The Missing Thread

Making sense of ADHD after diagnosis

Because a diagnosis is often just the beginning of the story.

When you're first diagnosed, it's natural to start searching for answers.

Suddenly, experiences that never quite made sense begin to fit together.

The overwhelm.

The emotional intensity.

The constant feeling that life seemed just a little harder than it appeared to be for everyone else.

For many women, diagnosis brings enormous relief.

But it also opens the door to a whole new set of questions.

What exactly is ADHD?

How has it shaped my life?

Why wasn't it recognised sooner?

Where do I even begin?

The Missing Thread was created for that moment.

A place to slow down, connect the dots and begin building a solid understanding of ADHD—without overwhelm, shame or stereotypes.

Why I created this program

When I was diagnosed, I started searching for answers.

There was no shortage of information. But I found myself piecing it together from dozens of different places, often wondering what to read next, what to trust, and how it all fit together.

What I was really looking for was a place that explained ADHD clearly, without losing sight of the person trying to understand herself.

As an instructional designer, I've spent more than fifteen years designing learning experiences that help people make sense of complex topics.

As a woman diagnosed later in life, I also know how deeply personal that process can be.

The Missing Thread brings those two worlds together.

Everything you'll find here is grounded in evidence, designed with intention, and created for real life.

It's the kind of course I wish had existed when I was first diagnosed.

What we’ll gently explore

Understand ADHD beyond the stereotypes and begin recognising your own experiences

Make sense of the emotions and identity shifts that often follow diagnosis

Recognise ADHD patterns that may have been hiding in plain sight

Understand the treatment and support options available, including medication, therapy and coaching

Connect experiences from your past with a new understanding of ADHD

Create a personalised roadmap for what comes next

For the first time, the pieces started to fit together.

One of the things I hear women say most often after diagnosis.

Is this for you?

This program may resonate if you find yourself...

You've recently been diagnosed and don't know where to begin.

You're looking for evidence-informed answers you can actually trust.

You're beginning to see your life through a completely different lens.

You'd like information that feels calm, balanced and grounded.

You're looking for somewhere to slow down instead of feeling overwhelmed.

You're navigating the emotions that often follow diagnosis

What you'll receive

Before you go

You don't need to understand everything today.

You don't need to rush through the questions that diagnosis has brought with it.

Sometimes the most important thing isn't finding all the answers.

It's simply finding somewhere to begin.

I hope The Missing Thread becomes that place for you.
